invitation

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee, I warmly welcome you all to the 7th International Conference „Vitamin D – minimum, maximum, optimum,” organized under the auspices of the European Vitamin D Association (EVIDAS). We are greatly honored to host you in a unique venue, graced by an exceptional group of Experts from many countries around the world – The Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw. We also welcome to all participants attending the conference on-line.

Currently, vitamin D deficiency is seen by some as a contributing factor, and by others as a significant risk factor for many lifestyle diseases such as cancers, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, metabolic diseases and disorders, infectious diseases resulting from weakened immunity, and many neurodegenerative disorders. During the 7th edition of this Conference, you will have the opportunity to learn about the latest recommendations for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency and its impact on the development of many diseases, taking into account reports documenting the pleiotropic effects of vitamin D.

Dear Colleagues, we believe that it is necessary and purposeful to disseminate knowledge documenting the importance of this crucial vitamin for the health of children, adolescents, working adults, and seniors. We are convinced that the scientific program of the 7th edition of the Conference and the participation of outstanding lecturers from many European countries, as well as from Canada and the USA, will provide you with access to the latest facts and debunk myths related to vitamin D.

I wish you productive discussions

Paweł Płudowski
